For once the sun shone on New Lane Playing Fields for this year's gala and the crowds on the field came out to enjoy the sunshine. 210 runners took part this year and helped raise money for scouting in Sprotbrough. As usual the race was run over a 6.5km route between Sprotbrough and Cadeby. Thank you once again to all who attended and continue to support us.

The Gala and Race this year raised over £5100 towards scout funds

Mrs Doreen Woodhouse, Chair of Sprotbrough and Cusworth Parish Council presented The Annual Achievement Trophy to the Scouts Supporters Group, for their outstanding efforts towards fundraising for the group. The Trophy is awarded annually to a Section, Child or Adult in recognition of achievement or contribution to the group.
