The Scout Group in Sprotbrough was first begun in 1914 by the then Lady Bewick Copley The current Group caters for over 70 boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 14 offering a variety of both indoor and outdoor activities. The Group Badge of the 67th Doncaster Scouts Representing our links with St.Mary's Church in Sprotbrough, An aircraft propeller as a link to Sir Douglas Bader who spent his childhood in the village, A barge to represent the South Yorkshire Navigation which runs through the village in the Don Gorge and the International symbol of scouting.
